Lina, a semi-retired optometrist for much of her life, grew up in Lebanon. At the age of 13, she moved to the United States to pursue her education. It was in her early thirties that she had a calling to discover her ancestral world. And that's when she moved to the Ivory Coast.
After creating, managing and selling 4 businesses over the years, she was faced with symptoms of chronic anxiety and depression, where she encountered inner conflicts. These manifestations were alleviated when she accepted her reality through YOGA in 2011.
As she experienced the healing powers of YOGA, which led her to her first yoga teacher training in 2016. That's when the real love affair began. And no love story is complete without sharing. This led to the existence of NIYAMAS YOGA ABIDJAN which became Niyamas for Yogafrica
